Community Local Law

The Community Local Law regulates a wide range of amenity, public health, and safety matters.

The Alpine Shire Community Local Law 2019 came into effect on 1 July, 2019. It regulates key issues and issues and activities within the Shire.

The Local Law is a set of regulations created by Council to address specific community needs, promote public safety, and maintain the local environment.

These laws are designed to manage activities, protect public spaces, and ensure that residents and visitors can enjoy a safe and well-maintained community.

Local Laws can cover a wide range of topics, from waste management and land use to animal control and public safety, and are enforced to uphold the quality of life within the Shire.
