Alpine Shire Council is celebrating Children's Week with a series of free family-friendly events in October.

Children and their families are invited to a series of free outdoor concerts by The Dreaming Space, a performing act that combines artistry, atmosphere and joy for the young and young at heart.
The Dreaming Space invite interactive play through performances designed for children aged 0-10 years to experience the wonder of skilled performance artists.
The Dreaming Space will be performing on the following dates throughout the Alpine Shire:
Mount Beauty | Hydro Park
From 3.30pm on Tuesday, 22 October 2024
Myrtleford | The Piazza
From 3.30pm on Wednesday, 23 October 2024
Bright | Howitt Park
From 3.30pm on Thursday, 24 October 2024
Families are encouraged to bring their own chairs and picnic rugs, with food stalls available onsite. No registrations are required.
Children's Week is a national celebration of children aged 0-12 years from Saturday, 19 October to Sunday, 27 October. Events held during Children's Week celebrate the excitement of childhood and showcasing their achievements. The theme for Children's Week 2024 is 'Children have the right to a clean and safe environment'.
