Applying for an Event Permit

You've done the groundwork - planned your event, gathered your documentation, and checked all the requirements.

Now it's time to submit your Event Permit application through our online portal.

Our streamlined application process lets you upload all your documentation in one place, and you can save your progress and return later if needed.

Before you start, ensure you have digital copies of all required documents ready to upload, and allow about 30 minutes to complete the form.

Before You Apply

Do your homework

Refer to the 'Planning an Event' page to ensure you have:

  • Enough time to apply.
  • Gathered all required documentation.
  • Applied for all necessary council and external permits.

If you can't gather all required documentation immediately, submit your application and upload the documents as soon as they are ready. Early submissions are beneficial for the events team.

Make sure your event date does not clash with other events in the Alpine Shire. Contact the events team at events@alpineshire.vic.gov.au or call 03 5755 0555.
