Alpine Shire Council is launching a monthly community email to keep residents informed about the latest Council news, projects, events, and updates.
This new initiative is perfect for those who may not regularly use social media but still want to stay in the loop.
Keeping Up with Council, launching in December, will provide key updates delivered straight to your inbox at end end of each month.
It’s an easy and convenient way to stay connected with what’s happening in your local community.
Alpine Shire Mayor, Cr Sarah Nicholas, said the initiative is part of Council’s ongoing commitment to improving communication with the community.
“We know that not everyone is on social media, and we want to ensure our updates reach as many people as possible,” she said.
“This monthly email is a simple and effective way for residents to stay informed about Council’s work and how we’re supporting the community.”
Keeping Up with Council will include highlights from Council meetings, progress on local projects, engagement opportunities and other important updates.
