Road closures at Standish St and O'Donnell Ave, Myrtleford

9 April 2024
Communities

The roundabout at Standish St and O'Donnell Ave in Myrtleford is being resurfaced as part of the Alpine Shire Council Asphalt Overlay Program.

Standish St and O'Donnell Avenue in Myrtleford will experience road closures between Monday, 15 April – Wednesday, 17 April to allow for the roundabout to be resurfaced.

Council undertakes asphalt overlay works each year to prolong the life of selected road segments.

To allow for these works, road closures will be implemented over the three-day period with detours implemented for road users and pedestrians.

Works will commence at 7am and be completed by 5pm per working shift. While construction noises and delays are expected, every effort will be made to minimise impact to road users and adjacent properties throughout this period.

Residents are requested to ensure vehicles are not parked within the vicinity of the roundabout between 7am and 5pm while construction works are underway. Vehicle access will be provided to properties while work is taking place.

These works are weather dependent and may be delayed or reschedule as required.

Council appreciates the community's cooperation and patience throughout these works.
