Nominations are now open for the 2025 Alpine Shire Community Awards, and Alpine Shire Council is calling on residents to spotlight the incredible individuals, groups, and events that help make our communities vibrant and resilient.
These awards honour inspiring local achievers, talented young people, standout community events, and organisations that have gone above and beyond to show what community spirit truly means.
Alpine Shire Council CEO, Will Jeremy, emphasised the significance of these annual awards in recognising the heart of Alpine Shire.
“The Alpine Shire Community Awards celebrate remarkable individuals who inspire us all,” he said.
“From overcoming challenges to leading community initiatives, these awards shine a light on those who make a real difference in our Shire.”
The award categories are:
• Local Achiever of the Year
• Local Young Achiever of the Year
• Community Event of the Year
• Community Organisation of the Year
