The Buffalo Stampede is returning to the Alpine Shire this month, promising to be the biggest event yet in its history.
This significant trail running event will draw over 2,000 trail runners from across Australia to the picturesque region of Bright and Mount Buffalo.
With an anticipated attendance of 10,000 to 12,000 supporters, the 2025 Buffalo Stampede is poised to make a substantial impact to Bright and surrounding areas.
The event will commence at 4pm on Friday, 28 March, and continue through to Sunday, 30 March, with the Pavilion at Pioneer Park serving as the central hub for all activities and gatherings.
Participants will traverse various roads between Bright and Mount Buffalo, incorporating the local trail network and bushland, showcasing the area's natural beauty and vibrant community.
All roads will remain open for use by cars and bikes during the event; however, we kindly ask that drivers and cyclists give the runners extra care and space during event times to ensure everyone's safety.
