The following roads will be closed for varying periods of time on Saturday, 4 May 2024 to allow for the safe staging of the Bright Rotary Markets and Gala Day Parade as part of the Bright Autumn Festival.
Bright Rotary Markets
The Bright Rotary Markets will take place from 6am to approximately 5pm. The following roads will be closed during this time:

Gala Day Parade
The Gala Day Parade will be held from 1pm to approximately 3.30pm. The following roads will be closed during this time:

Great Alpine Rd at Gavan St between Anderson St and Mountbatten Ave, including access to Star Rd, Howitt Ln, Barnard St, and Camp St

Park St between Deacon Ave and Bakers Gully Rd

Bakers Gully Rd between Park St and Railway/Cobden St roundabout

Mill Rd between Kilfinan Crs and Railway Ave

Star Rd between Riverside Ave and Great Alpine Rd at Gavan St

Mountbatten Ave between Great Alpine Rd and Rotary Slide carpark
Porepunkah

Back Porepunkah Rd at Station/Service Sts roundabout (local traffic excepted)

Access Bright via Great Alpine Rd only
There will a detour in place at Hawthorn Lane/Churchill Ave to Cobden St and Station St. Please expect delays.
V/Line Bus Stop
The V/Line bus stop on Anderson St will be moved to Apex Park on Gavan St (opposite Woolworths) from 4pm on Friday, 3 May 2024 to 5pm on Saturday, 4 May 2024.
