WILL JEREMY
Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Will is responsible for leading and managing the organisation to ensure implementation of the goals and strategies endorsed by Council.
Will has a Masters Degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford in the UK, and is a Chartered Professional Engineer and member of Engineers Australia.
Will worked for 16 years as a project manager in the oil and gas industry, initially for Shell and more recently for Woodside Energy. He joined Alpine Shire Council in early 2016 as Manager Asset Delivery, before stepping into the role of Director Assets in 2017.
Will enjoys making a difference for the community.

HELEN HAVERCROFT
Director Customer and Community
As Director Customer and Community, Helen manages the Corporate, Customer Experience, Community Development and Statutory Planning and Amenity departments.
Helen has a joint honours degree in Geography and Archaeology from Nottingham University. While an interesting area to study, Helen eventually pursued a career in the UK with Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, here she worked across a range of corporate tax compliance roles for over 10 years.
Helen moved to a role with the Local Council where she lived in the UK, then lead the administration of a British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic.
Bringing this broad range of skills and experience to the Alpine Shire, along with her husband and young family Helen is looking forward to serving the community in which she lives.
ALAN REES
Director Assets
As Director Assets, Alan is responsible for the Operations, Engineering and Assets and Growth and Future departments.
Alan has a MBA from Adelaide University and a BSc(Honours) degree from Rhodes University in South Africa.
Alan has been leading businesses and multi-disciplinary teams for the last 24 years across a broad range of industries, including the commercial fishing industry for 12 years and Rolls-Royce for 10 years.
He joined Alpine Shire Council in October 2020 as the Manager Asset Development and is looking forward to bringing his broad business and leadership experience to the role.
