How you’ll make a difference
As part of a small, dedicated team, you will ensure that Council’s assets are maintained effectively and efficiently, and that a high level of public satisfaction is achieved with the service that we provide. Your responsibilities will include to undertake horticultural maintenance and delivery of the construction, maintenance and operation of Council’s civil infrastructure throughout the Kiewa Valley.

Our ideal candidate
In addition to your relevant industry experience, you will have an enthusiastic personality who can work within a team to achieve great outcomes. You will also have good communication skills, excellent customer service skills and the ability to use technology such as iPads and email in the course of your work.
- Driver licence
- Relevant Civil or Horticultural certificates and/or experience
- Medium/Heavy Rigid Truck licence
- Operate and maintain chainsaws (desirable)
- Prepare to work safely in construction industry (CPCCWHS1001)
- Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) (desirable)
- Working with Children check
