Small town transformation information sessions

Opportunity to transform small towns

Have you had a creative vision for your town but haven’t had the funds to turn your vision into a reality?

Regional Arts Victoria is inviting all interested community members to attend a Small Town Transformation Session next Wednesday.

Small Town Transformation supports impactful artistic projects that are connected to community and place, for and by small Victorian towns with fewer than 2,000 people.

Alpine Shire Council Director Sustainable Development Heather Green said information sessions would be held in Mount Beauty and Bright next Wednesday, November 25.

“We really want to see artists, designers, architects, and anyone creative who may have had some great ideas for small town projects,” she said.

“Small Town Transformations offers six small towns across Victoria $350,000 each over two years for collaborative projects that will leave a legacy of creativity and artistic passion, so if there’s anyone in the local community who has fantastic ideas for their town please come along to the session.”

Mount Beauty - Auditorium@Visitor Infromation Centre - 12.30pm -1.30pm
