What could you do with the Myrtleford Memorial Hall?

11 May 2015

Alpine Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EoI) for the future use of the Myrtleford Memorial Hall.

The Memorial Hall is a landmark building to which the community has a strong connection.

Alpine Mayor, Cr Jan Vonarx said the building has been unused for some time and Council was keen to see it being used again, either by the community for a purpose that adds value to the town.

“The building contains a large hall area that would suit a wide variety of uses and is surrounded by cafés, restaurants and shops,” Cr Vonarx said.

“We are looking for Expressions of Interest from people with an idea that would suit the building,” she said.

EoI’s should detail the proposed use, preferred lease terms, and any further requirements of Council.

Expressions of Interest will close at 12pm on Friday June 26, 2015.
