Official Visitors Guide now out

17 April 2014

A VISITORS guide highlighting the attraction of “A Life Lived Outside” in the Alpine Shire has been released.

The free Bright and Surrounds Official Visitors Guides are now available at state-wide Visitor Information Centres and local businesses.

Alpine Shire Council Mayor Peter Roper said the publication encapsulated everything that attracted visitors to the Alpine Shire.

“It’s a fantastic booklet full of great images and a wealth of information for visitors,” he said.

“This OVG encapsulates Bright, Myrtleford, Mount Beauty and Harrietville within an image-rich publication that captures the essence of the tagline “A Life Lived Outside”.”

The OVG is updated and reprinted every two years. It serves the dual purpose of marketing outside the Alpine Shire and informing visitors while they are in the region.

It has an extensive directory covering accommodation, retail, food and wine, tours, history and things to do, providing a fresh appeal to an active holiday for all ages and abilities.
