Libraries host children’s activities this school holidays

LIBRARIES across the Alpine Shire are offering up a broad range of activities to keep kids of all ages entertained this school holidays.

Myrtleford Library:

Regular activities:
Wednesdays 11am
Rhyme Time – Nursery rhymes and action songs for babies 0 – 2 years

Thursdays 11am
Pre-School Story Time - Songs, stories and super activities (Suitable for ages 0-5 years)

Holiday activities:
Wednesday, 9 April 11am
Make and decorate a windmill

Wednesday, 16 April 11am
Make an insect mobile

Mount Beauty Library:

Regular activities:
Thursdays 10.30pm
Pre-School Story Time - Songs, stories and super activities (Suitable for ages 0-5 years)

Holiday activities:
Tuesday, 8 April 2.30pm
Finger Knitting Fun - Come and learn to finger knit. What can you create?
(Suitable for ages 7-16 years. Children under 10 will need to bring an adult to help them.)

Tuesday, 15 April 2.30pm
Easter Crafts - Make simple crafts such as an Easter basket and Lucky Bunny Feet.
(Suitable for ages 4-12 years.)
