The Municipal Emergency Management Plan (MEMP) is a statutory requirement of Council which identifies the main risks inherent within the Alpine Shire landscape.
This living document is guided by Alpine Shire’s Municipal Emergency Management Planning Committee, and identifies the roles and responsibilities of Council staff with emergency management functions, and the capacity of emergency relief providers that can be engaged in times of need.
The web-version of this operational document has had various sections removed, such as personnel contact details, and locations of vulnerable facilities.
