Clean Up Australia 2019 Grants

Council has committed $1000 towards small community Clean Up Australia Day projects.

Not for profit community groups, organisations and youth projects are invited to apply for a grant of up to $200 to deliver a Clean Up Australia project in the Alpine Shire during March 2019.

Interested groups can find more information on running their own Clean Up Australia project and order a free clean up kit online at www.cleanup.org.au.

Council’s grant could support groups to purchase additional clean up kits, pay disposal fees for rubbish collected, or provide a BBQ for clean up volunteers.

Applications will open on Monday, 17 December 2018 for projects to be completed during March 2019. Applications close Monday, 21 January 2019.

Alpine Shire Community Grants Program

Applications for the 2018/19 Alpine Shire Community Grants are now CLOSED.

Community groups and organisations provide vital services and support to Alpine Shire residents. Alpine Shire Council is committed to supporting these valuable activities by providing a funding opportunity to assist groups in the areas of arts and culture, sport, recreation, community events, community strengthening and the environment.

The grants cover:

2. Community projects for capital improvements
3. Non capital community projects and
4. Youth Projects
